On October 16th, we celebrated the second edition of UVE Day France in Paris 🎉 An event that, after its successful first edition last year, is becoming the benchmark for key players in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) sector in France.
In this edition, over 30 attendees from 19 companies gathered at the Novotel Paris Les Halles Hotel to share ideas, data, and inspiration about the most immediate challenges of the French market and the opportunities that technology brings.
💡 It was the perfect day to delve into the keys to digital transformation in Route to Market, and to discuss the future of an industry in full evolution.
🤖 Artificial intelligence applied to Route to Market: the central focus of the event
Artificial intelligence was the central focus of the event. We explored how Viktoria, the AI developed by UVE, helps CPG sector leaders continuously improve efficiency, execution, and sales.
We also analyzed how the UVE ecosystem, through its modular platform, offers a unique competitive advantage by integrating data, analytics, automation, and commercial execution.

🔍 5 key insights from our UVE Day France
Pep Planas, General Manager of UVE, opened the day highlighting two levers that will define the future of Consumer Goods: error prevention and collaboration as the engine for joint growth between manufacturers and distributors.
1. Viktoria: What if optimizing Route to Market was easier?
We continued with our General Manager who emphasized the importance of the transition to the new digital era, a stage in which AI will play a key role.
We demonstrated how UVE‘s solutions and Viktoria, our artificial intelligence, are capable of offering precise insights into the particularities of the On Trade Channel and how to address the industry’s new challenges while staying at the forefront.
In his presentation, Pep emphasized the importance of the transition to the new digital era, where AI will play a decisive role. He shared how our solutions, through AI agents and advanced algorithms, enable transformation of the commercial process, from sales prediction to strategic action recommendations.
2. Sell out as the driver of commercial transformation
During his presentation “Collaborative growth: the future of manufacturers and distributors“, Bruno Berot, Business Development France, highlighted how data exchange between manufacturers and distributors goes beyond knowing sales figures: it’s a new way to grow together, especially in the context of the French market.
He showed us how the UVE platform covers the entire value chain, from data quality and analytics to point-of-sale execution and e-commerce, to convert information into real growth.
Thanks to this sell-out visibility and truly actionable data, brands can transform information into tangible sales growth.
3. Next Best Action: guiding data-driven decision-making
Thomas Petit, Transformation & Global Accounts Director, presented the pillars of the UVE ecosystem and showcased the Next Best Action (NBA) functionality, powered by Viktoria, in action.
This AI agent is specifically designed to drive commercial actions in Route to Market. It recommends in real-time the most effective action for each point of sale, optimizing results and accelerating decision-making. The impact is tangible: greater efficiency, better exploitation of opportunities, and smarter commercial decisions.
4. The 4 pillars of a winning commercial strategy
The Project Managers team, Christophe Mathiou, Mónica Gorina, Miguel Romeo, and Sergi Cortilla, presented the fundamentals for building a solid commercial strategy:
- Christophe Mathiou highlighted the importance of advanced analysis techniques and artificial intelligence as drivers of a smarter commercial strategy. Thanks to UVE, companies can incorporate high-quality censuses, better understand the universe of points of sale, and optimize their RTM strategy with a more precise, analytical, and predictive vision.
- Mónica Gorina spoke about data culture and how UVE accompanies enterprises on their digital maturity journey, offering an all-in-one modular platform that simplifies On Trade channel management.
- Miguel Romeo focused his intervention on the importance of collaboration with distributors as commercial partners and showed how our Distributor Management System (DMS), especially the Agreements and Settlements functionality, is key to transforming the relationship with distributors, achieving greater traceability and time savings.
- Sergi Cortilla presented UVE Street, our mobile solution for perfect commercial execution, which facilitates the management of clients, tasks, and point-of-sale actions with complete visibility and performance control.
5. UVE in action: from theory to practice
Finally, Pierre Layré-Casssou, Partner & International Development Manager, presented the success case with Danone showing how all these challenges are addressed in practice. He demonstrated how UVE helps leading companies improve their processes through automation, transformation of the relationship with distributors as partners, identification of opportunities, and ultimately, the implementation and execution of commercial strategies effectively.
